The fields of activity cover sample preparation of solids as well as analysing technologies. Our products can be found in a number of industries including aerospace, agriculture, chemicals, construction and environment, energy, food, geology and metallurgy, material science, pharmaceuticals, scientific research and development and many more. Developing business strategy and sales execution to expand the business of the brands across the region. You report to the Director Market Units of Verder Scientific Division Management Germany. 


Wat ga jij doen?

Your main tasks:

  • Proactively develop a high performing team to deliver business results and manage the dealer network and customers;
  • Prepare the annual budget and deliver the regional revenue, growth and margin targets;
  • Managing the marketing activities as proposed by the Central Marketing; 
  • Responsible for developing the sales and technical sales strategy in a territory (NL), be familiar with all brands and responsible  for the product marketing for one of the brands;
  • Coach and provide guidance to your team located in Aartselaar near Antwerp;
  • Build and maintain relationship with key internal stakeholders such as the Division Management as well as with the Sales Directors of the brands represented;
  • Cooperate with the Managing Director of Verder N.V., Belgium.


Wie zoeken wij?

YOU ARE:

  • Bachelor or master degree in Chemistry or related science;
  • Speak and write English and Dutch fluently, German is an advantage;
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an international Product Manager or Sales Manager role in selling a technical product and managing a distributor networks in a region, preferably in the fields of laboratory, quality control or research;
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets and in leading a team;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Pro-active, innovative and self-starter;
  • Willing to travel within the territory and internationally.
